AirBoss® PSS100 plus

Revolutionary new SCBA for the professional firefighter

AirBoss® PSS100 is Dräger’s latest high performance breathing apparatus, uniquely designed to shift the weight of the unit from the shoulders to the hips, thus reducing back strain and increasing stability. The unit is also designed to move with the wearer, both vertically and horizontally. This additional flexibility allows the wearer to work more effectively for longer periods of time, with less fatigue. The revolutionary adjustable 3-position backplate gives the wearer a means to achieve the perfect fit for any torso length.

PRISM: Pressure Information System

The Prism Pressure Information System is the only wireless in-mask heads up display system that meets the rigorous demands of the NFPA standard 1981-2002 edition. The Prism system automatically provides the fire fighter with real time cylinder capacity information directly inside the fire fighter’s mask. The unique positioning of the cylinder information lights inside the mask provides the fire fighter with cylinder capacity information within the fire fighter’s natural comfort zone and field of vision. Regardless of the working environment the Prism is protected from smoke, dirt, heat, water and any physical impact.

The Prism System is activated automatically when the cylinder is turned on. Using standard CR2 lithium batteries to power the system, the Prism system provides visual cylinder content information, 50% cylinder content warning as well as a visual low pressure alert signal. The Prism system is immured to RFI interference. A photocell automatically adjusts the display brightness to the correct intensity for the ambient light conditions.

Sentinel

AirBoss Sentinel combines all life support monitoring functions in one.

AirBoss Sentinel calculates air supply time based upon actual air usage and first warns when 50% of the air is used. AirBoss Sentinel provides a second independent visual alarm and is compatible with AirBoss Evolution SCBA’s.

Draeger Super I-PASS II

The Draeger Super I-PASS II is approved to NFPA / NIOSH / MSHA standards. Highly visible and fully integrated into the AirBoss PLUS series of SCBAs, the Super I-PASS II is available in both a shoulder or waist mounted models. A stand a loan I-PASS is also available.
